The sun was shining, the air was brisk. On October 26th, it was a perfect day for a wedding.
You may remember Courtney and Adam from their memorable engagement session at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Having witnessed the tender love between these two, I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day for quite some time now!
Surrounded by a tremendous amount of love and support from their friends and family, their day definitely had me wiping away a few tears from behind my camera (especially when Courtney’s father first set eyes on his beautiful little girl and the heartfelt prayer that followed).
Their special day went off without a hitch, and then…oh and then, we headed outside for a few portraits of the glowing couple in the glowing sunset. The light was magical and their joy was contagious! Those last few minutes that I had with them photographing just what makes them THEM will be etched in my brain for quite some time. Their love, devotion and respect for one another and for the Lord were excellent reminders for me of the great honor I have to be able to do what I do.
