Lauri and Scott in Lancaster (Engagement)

Let me just start this post out by saying that if I could follow this couple around with my camera, I would.

You may recognize Lauri and Scott from earlier this summer when we photographed their beautifully golden field engagement session in anticipation for their upcoming nuptials next year.  It was smack-ya-in-the-face obvious then that their chemistry together, their ease in front of a camera and excitement to do or try anything while looking absolutely amazing doing it was something that my dreams are made of.  It doesn't hurt that they are amazingly kind-hearted, good people.  And it also doesn't hurt that everything that they love (fields, barns, corn, country…) is everything that makes my photographer's heart skip a beat!

Anywho, earlier this year, I asked them if they'd be up for a "mini part two" of their engagement session, this time, in a corn field, in the fall, when it was perfectly golden brown.  To my delight, they said yes!  So, on Saturday, we met once again near Lancaster to take a few more pictures and enjoy some cider and apple cider doughnuts made by the Amish folks that lived nearby.  I could go on and on about how full my heart was after all of the fall festivities that night, and how my wonderful husband was able to shoot alongside me, but I'm afraid we'd be here all night.

Without any more of my babbling, I surely hope that you enjoy a few of my favorite shots from our corn field adventures with Lauri and Scott!
