When I met Matt, I was a freshman in college- completely awkward and unsure of who to talk to and what to do with myself. As the weeks went on at UVF, some incredible friends were made as we gathered in Sarae and Rose's triple for open dorm. Now, I realize you may be scratching your head saying, "Triple who? Open what?" and that's okay. All you really need to focus on in that Matt was a part of that group.
Back then, he was pee-your-pants-laugh-'til-your-sides-ache funny. When I reconnected with him and his, then, fiancée Michelle back in April for their Cafe engagement session, it was wonderful to see that not only had that not changed, but Michelle was just as funny! After peering at them through my lens for a little over an hour, it was blatantly clear that these two were a match made in heaven.
Fast forward 8 months to a chilly winter morning. There was hustle. There was bustle. And BOY was there excitement. And when Matt laid eyes on Michelle for the first time, I think the room may have stopped breathing for a moment. It was humbling to see God's blessing on their lives. With how much love and support was in that room, I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for them from that moment forward.
