"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear"
"I'm a cotton-headed ninny-muggins."
"I think you're really beautiful and I feel really warm when I'm around you and my tongue swells up."
"You sit on a thrown of lies."
"Smiling's my favorite."
"Francisco…"
"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"
…..I could go on forever...
As we prepare to finally put away our Christmas decor tomorrow (I tried to hold on as long as I could…), I thought I'd give you a peek at what we surrounded by over the last month with a few snapshots of our humble, rustic set-up this year (as well as a few other Christmas Shenanigans that we enjoyed, including picking out our first real tree!).
My favorite spot in our house. This candle smells DIVINE. Lemon cake all day, every day.
We found our 'coffee table' and this perfect little berry garland at one of the many antique shops we saw on the way home from having an early Christmas with my parents this year. #winning
I LOVE sleigh bells. This cute little strand was one of the many Home Goods finds in the post.
Again, Home Goods #FTW.
I bought this ornament YEARS ago and just kept it blank for my first married Christmas. Felt good to write our name on it this year.
My sweet husband knows me well. He came home with this as an "extra" birthday gift this year. LOVE IT!
One of my favorite "first" ornaments.
The only reason for the season. I can't wait to have the whole set one day, but for now, all of the essentials are present and accounted for.
Until next year!
