I am not your typical newborn photographer.
I don't have pink and blue fluffy blankets, or colorful mesh wraps to hide a diaper. Nor do I have an array of baskets and bean bag chairs to aid me in perfectly positioning adorable babies. Because of these reasons, I'd venture to say that I'm not a newborn photographer at all.
Newborn photography is no joke, and for my colleagues who choose to invest in the extensive training it requires, as well as the hours it takes to make sure mom and baby remain stress-free during a session, you rock. When I made the decision two years ago to pour my time and resources into the creative world of modern wedding and engagement photography, I had to find a way to be true to my style of shooting when branching out into other genres of sessions that my clients require. So while what you see below might not be those angelic portraits of infants that you might be expecting, I do hope you enjoy seeing a few precious moments between our new little friend Jackson, and his wonderfully sweet parents in the comfort and beauty of their own home.
Happy weekend, my friends. :)
(Thank you, once again, Julie and James, for allowing me to be a fly on your wall and photograph a few more moments of your lives. Until next time! :))
