I don't often have the pleasure of photographing squishy little babies, but when I do, I want them all to be as perfect as Sadie Grace.

On Friday, I had the great privilege of spending some time with this seven day old little nugget and her kind, genuine and down-to-earth parents that just happen to be completely smitten with her. Because most little ones are used to being moved, shifted, naked and changed, at times, newborn sessions can have a few more tears than are usual. Not this girl- Sadie handled it all like a CHAMP. From hand-stitched headbands (that were crafted the night before by Shannon- serious talent, girlfriend!) to hand-crafted mobiles from grandma with love, this session will go down in my books as one of my favorite newborn sessions to date.

Shannon and Brian- you both are WONDERFUL! Thank you so much for allowing me into your home for such a sweet and very special time for your family! You three were dreams to work with and joys to be around. It's such a honor to share some of my favorite moments with you.
