It was a mid-summer's day in August when I got the call. For two dear friends, it was time for them to welcome their fourth blessing into the world, and time for me to get to the hospital and photograph one of the most incredible honors in my photography journey thus far.
Erica is a champ. To be honest, I'm not even sure that she broke a sweat as she endured all-natural labor pains. During the hour of contractions and two pushes it took for her baby to be born, I'm not sure I heard a peep come out of her mouth. After 3 boys, and choosing not to learn the sex of their baby prior to the birth, the moment that Pastor Mark announced, "It's a girl!!" was overwhelming. She was and is the perfect addition to their family.
E + M: Is there anything to say that's stronger than thank you? Being invited in to such a special moment for your family is something I'll never forget. You know I love you, but I wanted to say it anyway. :)
