It's been a little quiet around here, I know. Truthfully, we've been taking full advantage of the off-season by channeling our inner Chip and Joanna and tackling all things 'home and nesting' (and purging because we have way too much STUFF!), watching This Is Us in real time, and going to bed around 9pm (say whattttttt). While I have been loving the slower pace around here, I'm definitely ready to get what is sure to be a phenomenal 2017 underway.
Our first session of the year was surely an ALP favorite. When my brides turn into mamas and then reach out for us to rejoin their story, I can't help but get a little emotional. My job is made so much sweeter by these wonderful life-long friendships. I'd been gathering little tidbits here and there about Scott and Lauri's pregnancy on Facebook, and then that they were having a little GIRL but my favorite detail was Scott's return from deployment just days before this little one made her grand debut. If that isn't a happy beginning, I really, really don't know what is.
