Jenna + Tom. Lovers of Christmas decor and Harry Potter. I never asked if they’re Gryffindors, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. I mean, if you know me at all, are these my people, or are these my people?!

This day was magic in the making from day one. An ethereal wonderland from start to finish. These two love the trees, the woods, the forest, the creatures, the outdoors and it showed in all of the intricate details of this day. There were tissues, then packages of tissues, then boxes of tissues, a two-part gown, the most beautiful mermaid hair, a childhood memory-place, trees for days, intentional words, bear hugs, abundant laughter and REAL love. Could anyone ask for anything more?

J + T: I don’t know what to say. But I do want to say thank you for accepting me as one of your own, trusting my abilities and sharing your worlds with me. I’m so happy to call you friends.

Fall weather took a little bit to get it in gear this year, but that didn’t stop these two from turning on the charm and loving on each other in two of the places that they hold most dear. Their homestead is BEAUTIFUL and a product of skill, hard work and incredible vision. A little extra icing on the cake was getting to spend time with their GIANT ball of white fluff (see below :)). After we played a little in their own personal sea of evergreens, we took a little trip down the road to experience the beauty of Radley Run Golf Club. It’s a place that holds such a rich family heritage for them which made it a special spot to be invited into.

B + M: What fun it was to spend more time with you getting to know you better! Thank you for sharing your life-spots with me. That meant so much. Can’t wait for your big day!!

Welcome Fall! A season where the air is crisp, the leaves crunch and pumpkins are socially acceptable to eat, drink, wear and smell. It’s magical. It’s also when photographers are in the thick of busy season, staying up well past their bedtimes to edit some of the most beautiful memories from the most special of days.

One of those days included this one for Megan + James at the French Creek Golf Club. For an end of August day, it was pleasantly warm with the sun shining everywhere you looked. From the start, it was clear just how much time, effort, patience and planning went into creating this moment. Friends and family gathered to shower these two with love and cheers as they said “YES!” to a lifetime of love, commitment and traveling adventures. It was a sweet, sweet day to behold.

M + J: Your love for each other makes me smile. What a joy it was to spend this time getting to know you and helping to share your love story. Santorini looked INCREDIBLE! I can’t wait to see where you decide to explore next. Congratulations you two!

There’s a new kid on the block. And he’s CUTE.

#nicoburrito is his name, sleeping, eating and stealing Mom + Dad’s hearts are his games. His debut came with some hard work and lots of love. Though there’s always a learning curve when adding a little into the mix, Yen + Charles are naturals. Truly.

Y + C: I like being able to see you once a year! Thank you for introducing me to your little squish. You’re some rockstar parents, that’s for sure. Can’t wait to see Nico change the world! :)

I can’t believe that we’re in September. This wedding season is FLYING. Although I’m ready to wear sweaters and socks 24/7, I can’t completely say goodbye to summer until we highlight one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve seen this year!

Courtney + Brandon’s August day was a beautiful one. Hot, yes. But also sunny and slightly breezy at just the right times. The Bonnet Island Estate is one of the prettiest “beach” venues I’ve been to in a long time. The privacy and views for days that it offers adds some serious charm to this spot. Add in a bride + groom with impeccable taste (see the florals, suits, shoes, dress…you see my point) and friends + family that know how to let loose and not take themselves too seriously and it’s a huge recipe for an amazing day.
