Meet Michelle and Daniel.
Our relationship was quick, having only a few months between booking and their wedding day, but the impact they made and the comfort level between us made it seem like we'd known each other forever. From the toasts at their wedding, it's clear that I'm not the first that has felt that way, and I'm certain I won't be the last.
Their wedding was a perfect afternoon celebration. When I arrived early on Saturday morning and was greeted by a warm hug by Michelle's Mom, then her sister, then a hand hold from her grandmother, I knew that I was about to be a part of a very special day. And you know, by the time I left that wedding with the squeezes and smiles that came my way, I felt as though I was an Opperman-Garner myself.
The ceremony was beautiful, filled with smiles, tears, praises to the Lord and Irish Blessings. And the toasts at the reception- all I can tell you is that my eyes were anything but dry. It was during that time that I realized two things. Just how incredibly special and how insanely loved this couple was, and that Michelle is the most adorable weeper that I've ever seen. These two have made a major impact on their own little world, and a major impact in the kingdom of God. And that was a pretty exciting thing to witness.
