Anyone else thank God for that 61 degree day last Wednesday? I know I did. Not only because my body is so over being cold, but because the weather was the perfect backdrop to this engagement session.
I'm not sure that I've ever stalked the weather apps more than I did last week. I kid you not, three, maybe four times a day, that little bugger would switch to rain, then sun, then clouds and then through that combination again and again. I HATE rescheduling shoots due to weather, but I'm a firm believer that your final result will look so much better if you're comfortable and able to enjoy the session, not worry about your hair or dodging in and out of rain drops. So...when the weather began to show consistently that we would have two hours of sun that day during the most perfect time of the day, my happy dance made an appearance.
Jen and Joe's love is adorable. It couldn't have been more than a few shots in before they began to hug in the basement of the Chadds Ford Winery and Jen just completely relaxed into Joe's arms. It was pretty clear from that moment that it was going to be a great session! But please, don't take my word for it. I'll let their gorgeous smiles and magical moments speak for themselves.
Can't wait for September! :)
